VitalMedicals aims to save lives, by connecting surgeons in the operating room with their data and their teams.  Surgeons work in a sea of data that is mission critical -- vital signs, endoscope video feeds, and team communications are just a few -- but they cannot easily access that data during procedures, leading to poor situational awareness, difficulty coordinating with teams, and expensive delays, impacting patient safety and surgery outcomes. We're fixing that. Our software streams live vital signs, endoscopy and fluoroscopy video, and x-ray images to Google Glass and tablet, so that everyone in the surgical team has that data in their field of view at all times. It enables collaboration through seamless sharing of any of that data, plus the surgeon's POV, with anyone else in the hospital, and voice and text communication. All of this is possible completely hands-free - essential for the operating room - with Google Glass and our patented head-gesture input technology.
