Spotwag removes the social discomfort in asking for help. It's an alternative to kennels and pet hotels. Pet owners already go direct to friends for help watching their pets, but now without the awkwardness or pressure of a face-to-face request. It leverages users' existing social graph to make interactions seamless, and gives pet owners a single place to coordinate and store requests for help. We tested the direct "Airbnb for pets" approach ourselves, and we know how—and why—it falls flat.
