Musicians, comics, professors in MOOC’s, authors, symphony orchestras, politicians, etc. can all stream live audio to fans, students, followers, and increase their audiences. Broadcasters receive next-day intelligent data and analytics so they may better understand their listeners’ location, discovery and media-sharing patterns. Spacebar’s product can be used across an almost limitless number of different verticals. The initial go-to-market strategy is to target musicians who are up-and-comers, who have growing fan bases that they want to reach and cultivate using new technology. The Company supports musicians and content creators and is careful to comply with applicable licensing regimes. Also, given the stream is live performances, is not subject to many of the licensing requirements that have impeded other approaches with streaming recorded music.
