Consumers craft a reservation with headcount and time, then select one or more awesome restaurants, then name their price to come in during off-peak times. The merchants are notified and the first to accept wins the business. The whole process takes under 2 minutes. When the merchant accepts, the consumer's payment method is charged immediately. Our merchants love that for the first time, they're in control of issuing incentives during slow times without cannibalizing their busy times. Requested connects the right customers at the right time in the right context to the right places. We also built and tested a mechanism to pay more to "fast-trak" during busy times or get a table last minute. The consumer and merchant apps are live for iPhone and Android in three California cities. More to come.
