We sell a mobile augmented reality (AR) platform. It is built on our patented 6 degree-of-freedom tracking that combines inertial sensing with simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) on mobile devices. We are the only AR platform offering SLAM with a deep fusion of inertial sensors and computer vision. This gives us the unique capability to instantly place AR objects with accurate real-world scale, using no markers or other predefined objects. This works in software only. We solve two major main points in AR: the need for markers and the lack of accurate scale. This reduces friction and increases utility of augmented reality, allowing visualization of virtual objects in a meaningful real-world context. For example, many potential customers we've talked to have been interested in measuring spaces or capturing floor plans in order to determine if furniture will fit in a room. Instead, our technology allows users to just see if it fits, and if it looks good.
