Over 1.3 billion people live without electricity in emerging markets and spend over $30Bn each year on fossil fuel to light and power their homes. Fenix ReadyPay Solar enables customers to finance clean energy in micro-installments via a cell phone for less than their current energy costs. Customers pay as little as $0.35 a day to finance solar panels, lights, radios, and even LCD TVs. Fenix is also using big data from real time ReadyPay transactions to develop a next-generation Fenix Credit Score and provide greater access to capital for our customers and the 2.2 billion un-banked adults in emerging markets.
