Drumleaf is building an ecosystem of web and mobile games which seek to pilot the next generation of interactive experiences for clever kids through creativity and collaboration. At the core of Drumleaf’s philosophy is the belief that we can build a child’s self-esteem, resilience and confidence by allowing them to make, share, and collaborate with music. We have addressed parental needs, they control and oversee spending through Facebook. Additionally, we have provided them with the confidence that the game content and environment will be positive and safe. Our first game, Star86.com, is a 3D virtual world for children to have fun and be creative with music, regardless of their musical background. Its objective is to encourage kids in the seven to 14-year range to explore music via gaming in a futuristic space environment. Users can create their own unique avatar on the site, explore 'planets' and make music with others online in real time.
