Designlab is the best way to learn creative skills online — through hands-on, mentor-driven courses. Great design is growing increasingly crucial to the development of products, services, and businesses — but there’s not nearly enough strong creative talent in the market. The $20B web design industry and the broader $186B creative space (advertising, video, etc.) are only growing. We’re bridging the creative skills gap with our unique education platform that helps students learn through hands-on work and 1-on-1 mentoring with our pool of experts. Our goal is to become the central hub of creative labor — teach a variety of skills, vet people’s abilities, and match them with the right work opportunities. In the last few weeks, we've developed our pilot online course ("Intro to UI design"), had our first 15 design mentors sign up, and sold out our first 2 batches (55 students + ~$20k in course revenue). Plus our students love us!
