Chariot is a Y Combinator-backed startup that builds better transit routes which are faster than public transit and more affordable than taxi and Uber. As of March 2015, Chariot offers four routes in SF: Chestnut Bullet, SoMa Express, and California Dreamin' and the West SoMa Direct. Customers can live-track chariots moving throughout the city and purchase passes on its iOs app and mobile website. We're integrated with commuter benefits, allowing its customers to use pre-tax dollars, a savings of 30-50% (ie. your income tax bracket). Non-transit vendors like Uber, Lyft and taxis will never be able to offer this feature.
