3Scan creates new analytical perspectives on the structure of disorders such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's, and strokes. The patented Knife-Edge Scanning Microscope allows cells, tissues, and organs to be seen in 3D at microscopic resolution. Immediate applications are in drug discovery, biotech, basic research, and will eventually be applied clinically. Current techniques are manually handled by humans, thus orders of magnitude slower and not suitable for 3D modeling.
